Crazy Domains is giving a $100 credit to its customers who lost their data in a recent outage. This company is an Australian mass market web hosting service provider. The customers to it ran their business while depending upon their respective websites and emails.
In a report, it is believed that only eighteen out of ten thousand clients lost their data while using a particular server. The company has however send a message to all its customers and informed them about the unforeseen loss. This data loss is reported to occur on 8th May ’14 but the informing message was sent to the clients on 15th May ’14.
However, Crazy Domains is trying its level best to recover the lost data and also advices the customers to maintain a backup for their data while using the hosting services. Most of the webs hosting plans include an automatic backup feature but if it’s not then every user should backup his data.
However, this loss created unintentionally by Crazy Domains could benefit other web hosting companies of the Australian market.
