A survey conducted on 8th January ’14 concluded that around 25% of the major Russian and UK business firms are planning to shift their data centers to the exteriors of United States. These countries comprise of those business giants that pay heed to data privacy issues.
Even though these major software industries have a selection criterion of web hosts with optimum performance and goodwill for the convenience of their users but still these firms would easily give it up in order to maintain a prominent data content.
It is now becoming a top-most priority concern to research for dependence of data security on various businesses, in relation to many web hosting platforms. This effort, to maintain privacy, has engulfed most of the companies to host their data according to the privacy laws rather than to follow the previous customs of US hosting. Also many companies were actually hosting their data in US even after committing to follow privacy policies with their users.
It is believed that every 1 out of 3 companies are shifting their data centers outside the US. Also majority of these companies are authenticated with Canada. Mainly Canadian and UK business firms are considering this scheduling. Other than shifting data outside the US, many are prioritizing security and privacy issues with their hosting platform for the best customer support service.
Report by IT sectors concluded that shifting of approx $35 billion software businesses exterior to US might be a possibility in the coming 3 years.
