eNom and DreamHost come together to administer Domain

DreamHost, the leading web hosting firm joined hands with the prestigious ICANN recognized wholesale registrar, eNom to manage its domain name business and newly available gTLDs.
DreamHost will offer its hosting platform (which will contain VPS, Cloud hosting and Dedicated Servers) to eNom for use. In return, a reseller platform will be provided to DreamHost by eNom, so that it can handle its domain name commerce and gTLDs.
About this tie-up, Chris Sheridan, the Vice President (Business Development) of eNom spoke volumes. He showed his belief in the partnership and considered it to be basic next step for both the parties. Sheridan boasted about eNom’s success over the past ten years. He also stressed upon how the company has been involved with 8,800 resellers who have registered 14 million domain names till date.
By October 1st, 2013, eNom will begin to promote DreamHost’s services using retail business as a medium.
This joint venture of DreamHost and eNom is a proof of the dedication and hard work they have put together into the introduction of new gTLDs and the launch of innovative domain extensions.
Simon Anderson, the CEO of DreamHost revealed that the latest domain name extensions will prove to be building blocks for new web channels and brands. With eNom’s involvement in the process, DreamHost will be able to distribute a complete package.
