German Hosting Soon to be Launched by Vodafone

A report released recently by Telecom newspaper stated that the Vodafone Telecommunication Group inaugurated a German Hosting that provides Cloud as well as Web Hosting service. It targets the Frankfurt metropolitan citizens who desire to store their confidential data at home.

Vodafone Group is a renowned name and has been enhancing its wireless business since the time of its establishment. It is looking for more ways to expand its mobile services by deepening its roots in the web hosting industry, its safety and entertainment services.

Germany has particularly been considering the Cloud and web hosting services as the major international concern. It is the strongest supporter of local data storage feature in Europe. Initiatives have been made in order to keep the confidential data kept within the European territories, thus restricting it from passing it to the servers based in the US.

At present Vodafone is positioned on the second place, in Germany, after its local Deutsche Telekom which is at the top position. Vodafone has started growing up its business after its revenue started to decline.
