World’s biggest IT giant, IBM, has publically stated on 17th January ’14 that it would invest approximately $1.2 billion amount for the sole purpose of increasing its worldwide cloud computing data centers. For this purpose IBM has planned to offer global cloud services from forty data centers in fifteen countries.
Some of the countries which will have these data centers established are namely; China, Washington, Hong Kong, London, Japan, India, Canada and others. In accordance with this expansion, IBM has set a goal to build data centers in all vital developing nations, having a stable finance.
Sr. Vice President of IBM Global Technology, Erich, stated that their organization would continue to endow in to capable and growing institutions. Also in the year 2013, IBM invested $2 billion acquiring to its currently high standard cloud groups. This enhanced global use of IBM’s cloud computing platform has aided users to make transformation.
From the year 2007 IBM has been a true contributor to have donned approximately $7 billion in 15 small enterprises to pace-up its cloud essentials. The software giant states that it handles 1,560 cloud authenticated users and practices millions of public-based cloud user transactions.
