McAfee Reports Risk in IT Sector by Malware

McAfee, a popular security software developer, has reported that they fear the risk of cyber-crime industry to grow and supply codes which are a threat to the IT sector. The company has estimated that risk of code misusage, no Microsoft usage and apps which gather user data would haunt IT industry in the recent times.
The report by McAfee mentions that many security threats have some or the other type of malware involvement. It also says that the cyber crime industry has been the key reason behind the growing number of security attacks.
McAfee has put questions on the reliability of the Certificate Authority (CA). This is due to the previous records of the company, which shows about 50% increase in cyber threats that come with signed certificates.
Also in the year 2013, Microsoft was exploited and confidential information was stolen that targeted high-profile industries in many parts of the world. And as technology has advanced to supreme level and with this comes more risk of cyber threats to mobile devices. Users get perplexed when they have to distinguish between a threat and a certified app.
This report concludes that many websites hosted on different web hosting platforms, are at risk due to the cyber security threats. These threats have surely risen to 15% and more than 196 million systems have been affected.
