Yahoo Includes Encryption Feature to Maintain Data Security

The year 2013 noticed a decryption of private information between the sending and the receiving parties, which was originally encrypted. This has lead the government and defense agency’s data confidentiality at risk.

Yahoo has taken an initiative to include encryption facilities into its services. This makes the data transfer between data centers safe and also avoids any kind of foul plays. Yahoo has even implied this new facility as a default feature on Yahoo Mail and on almost all of its services.

Alex Stamos, Chief Information Security Officer at Yahoo, explained to its users about the need to implement these added security services. With this, Google has started to encrypt the data transferred through e-mails, both sent and received. Also the Yahoo Homepage and the tab options available on it have HTTPS encryption enabled.

Yahoo is seeking support from its associated partners. Stamos stated that their arena of interest is to enroll more partners to use Yahoo’s services. These services also include its latest Yahoo Hosting Coupons. Users feel contented with their security issues getting resolved.

Yahoo not only aims at improving the security of its data transactions but also to enhance the security of its overall internet ecosystem in the coming times.
